Sculptures

While walking near Wall Street we also encountered many interesting sculptures.
Sculpture by Louise Nevelson, Louise Nevelson Plaza

This tree sculpture, which stands in the courtyard of Trinity Church, is by sculptor Steve Tobin. On September 11, 2001 a giant sycamore tree that had stood in the courtyard at Trinity Church for almost a century was knocked over by debris when the World Trade Center towers collapsed. The sculptor used the roots of the tree as the base for this sculpture.

Sculptures in City Hall Park.
