New Year's Eve Outfit, Inspired by Jewelry from Purdy Girl

Purdy Girl is a great boutique on the Upper West Side on Columbus between 82nd and 83rd. They carry lots of designer clothes and jewelry, and have a pretty large selection. Because the majority of their items are designer (Trina Turk, Nenette Lepore, Michael Kors, etc.) the prices are high, but they seem to constantly have large sales. On New Year's Eve, when I was wandering around stores on the UWS looking for an outfit to wear that night, I stopped into Purdy Girl and they were having a sale on jewelry. All of their jewelry was 50% off and it was buy 2 get 1 free. There were some really great pieces (and admittedly I am an accessories fanatic) so instead of buying a dress, which had previously been the goal of the afternoon, I decided to buy some new jewelry to wear with a black fringe dress that I bought at H&M a few years ago for $10.

Here are the 3 pieces I bought (I obviously had to get 3 to take advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free sale...) While all 3 pieces are fantastic, the necklace is definitely my favorite. I just love the large colorful stones and the gold wire wrapping. Total paid for the jewelry was ~$70 (marked down from ~$185), pretty good.
