Better Bath Deep Water Bath

Before moving into my current apartment I had not taken baths on a regular basis since I was in high school and lived at home with my parents. This is because my parent's house (and specifically the bath tubs), was very clean. In contrast, every rental apartment that I lived in during and after college was a little gross (OK maybe a lot gross). When you have crappy landlords that take crappy care of their crappy apartments, combined with gross tenants living in the units before you, it's no wonder that most of my recent apartments had less than enticing bathtubs (I won't go into details but use your imagination).

Anyway, fast forward to my current apartment and I can take baths again! The building we live in now has been kept up very well, and when we moved in the bathtub was clean and sparkling white! As a result, I have been taking many many baths. My fabulous husband took note and when I came home a few nights ago, he had the following item waiting for me:

This is the Better Bath Deep Water Bath, which he purchased on Amazon. It is basically a large plastic suction cup that covers the overflow drain on the side of your tub so that you can have deeper baths. What an ingenious idea! I used it for the first time tonight and was able to have many more inches of water in the tub, which made it that much more luxurious. Don't worry, there is a hole at the top of the suction cup so that water can still drain out if it is in danger of overflowing, it just drains from a higher point.

This is such a simple concept but makes a WORLD of a difference! And for $7.79, I think it's definitely worth it!
