On Saturday we went to the Columbus Circle Holiday Market, which is a wonderful festive outdoor market at the southwest entrance of Central Park. It was extremely crowded, but there were what seemed like hundreds of vendors selling everything from food and hot drinks to jewelry, clothes, ceramics, etc. It's a great place to go holiday shopping and pick up some unique gifts that you can't find in large chain stores. The market is open every day through December 24th. Here are some photos:
