Chicago

I recently spent about 48 hours in Chicago. This was my first time there, and I left with a very favorable impression of the city. The people were friendly and the city was so clean, especially when compared to New York. I also really loved the architecture. There were so many different styles that all came together very harmoniously to make a beautiful and interesting skyline.

Another of my favorite elements of the city was Millennium Park. While I only spent a brief 10 minutes walking through the park, I saw many amazing sculptures including the Cloud Gate (aka "The Bean"), and Crown Fountain, a "video sculpture"/fountain, with two large rectangular faces spouting water.

Perhaps the only thing that I really disliked about Chicago was the deep dish pizza. Yuck! It was way to cheesy. I managed to have half of 1 slice and I felt so ill. I think I ate about 1 pound of cheese just in that half of a slice. Thank you, but I will stick to the NY thin crust.

Below are some photos from the trip. Disclaimer: I was only there for a short while and did not have my nice camera (only the iPhone) so the photos were limited and extremely fuzzy. These were the best ones.
